About
Emily Will is a lifestyle, portrait, and documentary photographer from St. Petersburg, Florida,
now working between Florida and beyond.
Starting her career in photography at a young age, Emily first found her voice through travel - documenting people, landscapes, and everyday life across more than 25 countries.
This early exposure to diverse cultures and environments shaped her eye for storytelling and helped cultivate a warm, human-centered approach that continues to guide her work.
Over time, Emily expanded her work across editorial shoots, brand campaigns, and events, refining her visual style through years of hands-on experience behind the lens. She captures authentic moments with a natural, emotive energy that has become her signature.
A finalist for her hometown’s inaugural Photo Laureate, Emily’s work often reflects the history, people, and legacy of St. Pete, especially through projects that highlight women’s stories and personal identity. Her photography has been exhibited across the Tampa Bay area and featured in publications like Creative Loafing.
In addition to commissioned work, she leads creative direction and content for small businesses, and regularly donates her time photographing nonprofit events and causes.
Her mission is simple: to create meaningful images that reflect the beauty of real life.

To me, photography is a form of translation — turning the intangible into something you can hold with your eyes.
"Photography has always been a constant companion of mine. When I was 6, I remember begging my grandmother to drive me to CVS and buy me an underwater film camera. I would make sets in my house with craft paper as the backdrop and Barbie dolls as the models. My grandmother always said, “Photography is reality, and I like reality.” My photographs represent my reality, what goes on in my head, and how I see the world. I believe there is beauty in absolutely everything and I’ve been blessed with the ability to see it. My approach isn't confined to a specific style; instead, I capture the soul of each moment, wherever I am and whatever I'm doing. It's about feeling the scene and translating that emotion into a visual experience. Photography is the only thing that relaxes my mind from all the stress, worry, and thoughts that take over my perpetual mind. It's my outlet – my way of connecting to myself and the world. I have always felt the most like myself when I am surrounded by other cultures in other parts of the world, and then of course, my camera is there too."
